An
excursion to Chavin de Huantar along the valley og Huaylas to
Catoc through the "Callejon de Conchucos" until to
get to the archaeological sites, one of the first civilizations
of Pre-Inca age: Chavin, the biggest legacy, is an archaeological
complex made of stone where you can find the Cabezas Clavas
(Keystones of projecting blocks shaped as human heads), litho
scultures that have human and animal features, and the Lanzon
Monolitico, a 5 metre-high daggerlike rock.

Tour.

visit the thermal baths of Monterrey, located at 7 Km from Huaraz,
which water can have a temperature of 49°C. The rest of
the afternoon is yours to enjoy the city.
- Return
to the city of Lima.
